“Perfect place to lay your head.”
Hotel Di Ann is perfectly located for exploring Amsterdam. Slap bang in the centre of Amsterdam but not too noisy as just behind Dam Square. The hotel staff were all very helpful and always cheerful. The room was very small but was fine for sleeping and washing, what more do you need? Breakfast was basic but perfect for getting you going in the morning and until 10.30am which made it more accessible. I would definately stay here again.
“wonderful experience”
DiAnn was a lovely experience. Staff was professional and helpful. Location was the best- near everything-shopping, museums and resturants. Get over the stairs and enjoy.
“heaven & hell”
Beds from heaven, stairs from hell (very steep ascent to reception and rooms) hotel for the fit and able. Very pleasant staff very helpfull. breakfast more than ample to start the day with, juice tea coffee toast cereal eggs what more could you want. would definately stay again if vising Amsterdam. Close to everything 10 minute walk from central station, 2 mins from dam square.
“Nice hotel in the middle of the city”
This hotel had a great location and the staff was very helpful. You could walk to just about all of the sights. The shower was hot and the bathroom was clean and modern. The rooms were a bit small but sufficient for our two night stay.
“Best Hen Weekend I could have wished for!”
This hotel was chosen because of its good location and cheap rates and it did not disappoint. We stayed in the cosy Quad-room on the 4th floor overlooking the canal and had beautiful 4 huge windows which helped you truly experience Amsterdam. The hotel service was wonderful. Any problems we had with the room they immediately did something about it. The breakfast room is beautiful with a ornate ceiling & a wonderful atmosphere. Also I am a complete cat lover, and they had a hotel cat, who was friendly and sweet.
“stairs”
i loved this hotel, because it was clean, the staff we're really helpful and it was really central to everything we wanted. the only thing that could have been a nightmare were the stairs getting to our rooms, we counted 56 from the front door to out room on the 2nd floor. so i recoment this hotel to anyone who is fit and can carry a suitcase up 2/3 flights of stairs, if you have a small child or pushchair this would probably be a nightmare. however even with the stairs i loved this hotel.
“great location, easy to find and very helpfull staff”
Ideal location, within walking distance of most sights, anne franks house is very close as well is dam square. Yes the stairs to get in are very steep but you get a very nice welcome from the staff. Stayed in the four bedroom which has some nice views of the canal and the street below. So great value and i would go back
“great little hotel”
had a single (314) for 10 nights it over looked a courtyard garden behind the row houses. room is very small but the space is used wisely with a brand new bathroom with a great shower. everybody who works at the hotel was very helpful and very nice. if you are a couch potato, the stairs will be your first step to better health.the di ann is a great little fun city hotel
“Room with a view”
There are rooms on the main floor with balconies and we had a spectacular view from our room. The hotel is in walking distance from museums and coffee houses.
“will go back”
we found staff very helpfull and pleasent, night staff a little grumpy (but hey) we were in bed.stairs up to reception not to bad keeps you fit.breakfast ok not every ones cup of tea but we would go back as very central.

Canal Ring, Amsterdam, Netherlands: The classic Amsterdam image of stately canals, the Canal Loop is principally the Herengracht and Keizersgracht, lined with gracious tall 17th and 18th-century houses. Some of these are now museums, most notably the eccentric Kattenkabinet. The Amstel is a more down-to-earth waterway, lined with houseboats and famous for its classic muchphotographed Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge). The floating Flower Market is also a much-loved canal feature.
