“If 100 extra stairs are OK ... :-)”
What am I saying, the whole town is stairs! Just don't be shocked by the extra 100 stairs you have from the street. Otherwise, Pietro was great, the guy who brought coffee to my table was also very polite and professional. The breakfast was very, very nice, too. I really enjoyed staying at Casa Albertina, and would easily recommend it to others. I think the price was great, given I was by myself.
“Fabulous - Loved It !!”
Casa Albertina was fantastic; The views from the rooms and the rooftop lounge were the best in the town; Lorenzo and his staff could not have been any better. Breakfast was very good. The view from the breakfast balacony was fantastic. Positano was a wonderful town. Having Cucina Caserecia da Vincenza next door was really great; dav Vincenza was the best restaurant in the whole town!! Only downside was the significant walk up the stairsto the hotel. Overall, I don't see any reason to stay anwhere else!
“A great alternative for Positano”
We spent 4 nights at Casa Albertina, it was a wonderful experience. The staff was very kind and helpful, rooms were very comfortable, well kept and clean, our room had a great view of Positano's coast. Distance to the beach is reasonable, a good walk after dinner is always good. If you are travelling by car, do consider an extra fee for parking, but service was perfect, you get your car in 5 minutes. All in all, great value for money!!
“Great experience!”
Casa Albertina was a great experience for us. Great staff, very clean and with an incredible views of Positano. Additionally, the hotel offers "Sky TV" which includes various English channels options in case that you just want to relax for awhile in the room.
“great hotel”
positano is a hill and all is up and downs. this hotel is not in the street and there is a stair you have to climb to reach the hotel. It is nice, people is friendly and helpful. you can walk down to center and there are great restaurants nearby.
“Warm cozy lovely place”
We had a wonderful experience at this lovely hotel. The steps to reach it with your bags is difficult, but made easier when Alfonso helped us with the climb. The climb happens everywhere you go in Positano. Get some exercise before going to this town. It is a climb from the beach to wherever you want to go. All worth it. Lorenzo was a wonderful help to us. Casa Albertina has been in his family for many generations, and he knows just how to treat his guests. Lorenzo also speaks perfect English, a huge help. He arranged many things for us to do. I would highly recommend a stay here, and hope that we will be revisting next year. Lovely breakfast too, on their balcony over looking all of Positano, great way to start your day. Enjoy...
