“Beautiful boutique hotel”
This is a beautiful Boutique Hotel with balconies that overlook Positano and large spacious rooms with a good sized bathroom. It's very clean, open and fresh. Daniella,Christian and Rosa are all very helpful and will do anything they can to assist you. This hotel is located at the top of Positano so it's a good 20 minute walk down to the main town which was good for us but may be a little challenging for others, they do offer transport to and from town at certain times so it's not a problem. It's next to the stairs that lead up to the walking tracks that begin the walk of the Gods and many other trails. Breakfast is served in the room, juice/ tea, coffee with croissant. Anything else you pay for. We just bought cereal and fruit at the supermarket 20m down the road. No tea/coffee facilities are provided ( only with breakfast). We thought this hotel was beautiful and would definitely recommend it to fellow travelers.
“A Great Positano Experience”
The Hotel employees Daniela, Eva & Christian are Great Very Helpful and Informative The room was beautiful and its terrace great, the room service breakfast was fantastic and In-House taxi service to restaurants was unbelievable great restaurant suggestions. Do not miss this place on your visit to Positano the Views are out of this world and the price is ver reasonable. Great Choice !!! five Stars*****
“Loved This Hotel!”
Expedia found this hotel for us at the relatively last minute because our plans had changed. We were worried what we would find since there wasn't a lot of information on the hotel. It has just been open about 3 years after an extensive renovation of this classically old Positano building. Daniella at the front desk was very attentive and took pride in showing us to our room -- and with good reason! We were 4 people so we had a 2-bedroom suite with a balcony overlooking the sea. The room was spotless and had beautiful local tile throughout. We had a huge full bathroom and a smaller half bath as well. We loved the place and although it's a bit far from the beach, the little local Positano bus that circulates all day and evening stops at the corner, so getting around is not difficult if you don't want to walk the steep roads and steps down to the water. We also had a great meal at a nearby restaurant, Le Mediterraine.
“Nice new hotel and friendly staff...”
We stayed here recently, and loved the hotel and the staff were extremely helpful. The location isn't the best in Positano, but if you like walking, you can get to the main town area in about 15 minutes by foot. On the downside, a couple of things really irked me about our stay: 1. They tried to charge 20 EURO's per night (which is really expensive!) for a collapsible crib for our baby on top of the room rate we'd already paid. When we booked the room, we provided all the info on the baby so this should have been included in the room rate. 2. In the morning, we had no hot water and despite calling down to the lobby twice, no-one even came to check or respond. So, I refused to pay for the crib when we checked out. Other than the hot water and the additional charges, it is a really nice hotel.
“nice hotel, but poor manager service....”
we were VERY pleased with our room and the overall condition of this hotel. breakfast was Wonderful and the housekeepers were great.... but the managers and their customer service at this hotel are the downfall.... we had an incident that would have been considered "norm" and "completely reasonable" in the US but there the manager reacted almost with hostility towards us, accusing us of absurd accusations.... this matter was no where Near resolved in a decent manner. we'd certainly highly recommend this hotel had it not been for this circumstance, but when you are in an area that is 60% american tourists, they Need to be more customer service oriented! gorgeous hotel.... stunning location... but if i were to go again, i'd stay somewhere else.....
“729 steps up!”
I traveled with my sister, and we really just used this hotel as a place to crash and shower, etc. We hardly spent any time in the room, but I can say that eating the complimentary breakfast on our room's balcony was a great way to start each morning. Beautiful views from the balcony! We stayed there 3 nights. Staff's English was hit or miss. My only complaint is that this hotel is 729 steps up form the beach, so you either should be very fit and willing to take the stairs, or you have to be willing to take the hotel's shuttle or the local bus, which both usually require a short-ish wait.

Area:
Positano, Italy: A desirably picturesque tourist haunt, Moorish-style houses cling to Positanos steep hillsides. Its a pleasant walk down to the small grey beach and fishing harbour via narrow, flower-decked alleyways and steps, but the return journey takes some effort (luckily theres a bus). A domed church is Positanos main landmark. The town celebrates the Feast of the Assumption on 15th August by re-enacting a famous victory against the Saracens.
