“would go back”
Not the easist place to find but nice friendly staff. Adequate buffet breakfast. All in all good value for money.
“A good solid hotel”
The hotel was nice, clean and functional. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. We felt the advertised prices for summer were very high for such a standard hotel (but may well be standard for the Algarve). The location is good and there is limited parking behind the hotel so get there early for a space. Walk into town is about 5 minutes and there are plenty of restaurants in the direct vicinity. Breakfast was decent but nothing amazing. Overall, pleasant place to stay but nothing exciting.
“Comfortable and friendly”
A comfortable, friendly atmosphere. The owners and staff made me feel welcome, and were extremely helpful.
“Good value for money”
Nice hotel close to the central of Faro with all the amenity at your door step + just ten minutes by car from the airport. The only downside is the parking space, very small and narrow.
“Comfortable stay in central Faro”
A comfortable, better than basic hotel for central Faro that we found good value for money (admittedly off peak time in the winter); friendly helpful staff. Breakfast not the best.
“Great Location”
Good value hotel, for Faro, only a short walk to the Centre and Marina, plus only 10 mins drive from airport. Stayed their twice and would stay there next time in Faro
“Good Value”
A very pleasant hotel with helpful staff. We had our own plans and used the hotel as somewhere to sleep and have breakfast so we can't really give an in depth review of the facilities. However, for what we wanted it was ideal and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others visiting Faro.
“Good City Location”
Although the hotel restaurant was not open for evening meals that didn't affect my stay. The city center location meant there were plenty of excellent places to eat all close at hand. Service in the hotel is freindly and polite.
“not bad but could be better”
Not a bad hotel in terms of location and service but could be significantly improved with some renewal in rooms; the price is not the best but Faro has not a lot of hotels to offer which is not understandable beeing the capital of the touristic region. Anyway, for this price and quality I don't think you will find much better than this in Faro.
“general”
nice fresh breakfast and good location, hotel seems a little old but staff friendly and helpful

Area:
Faro, Portugal: This bustling characterful little town, gateway to the region, is overlooked by most Algarve visitors. Its elegant cobbled, peaceful Old Town is a delight for strolling. The Cathedral is its highlight; climb to the top for wonderful views across Faros lagoon. The newer, late 19th-century part of town is a likeable jumble of shopping streets, local bars and restaurants, a regional museum and the Carmo Church with a ghoulish bone chapel.
