“Room with Whitsunday view”

Located about 600 meters up the hill behind Airlie Beach Township, the rooms overlook the town, and have a panaramic view of the ocean and some islands. An easy walk to town (coming back is up hill but taxis are available if reqd), but all tour operators will pick up and drop off outside the hotel door. Truely a relaxing break.

Area recommendations
Airlie Beach is a small town so most Hotels are up the hill behind the shops, Azure was a bit further back but less of a climb than many others, but still an easy walk to shops and resturants.
Getting there
Fly to Proserpine and bus to Airlie Beach, or fly to Hamilton Island and ferry back to mainland.
Getting around
Can walk to most places, tour operators will pick up from hotels.
Must see
Barrier Reef, both tour operators (FantaSea and Whitsunday Cruises) have pontoons at the reef and have an all day tour to the reef. Included in packages in hotel pick up, snorkelling equipment, stinger suits, floatation devices, rides in semi submersible, food..... everything you need for a good day out. Day trips are available to some of the islands, which island depends on the operator... FantaSea and Whitsunday Crusies operate from different locations but get hotel pick up and sit back and relax.
