“Absolute Beach Front”

Excellent hotel with is absolute beach front. We stayed in a one bedroom beach front with full kitchen for 2 nights but would be happy to stay here for an extended period of time. The room had an excellent balcony. The complex has a good indoor pool area and gym suitable for lap swimming and is 2 minutes walk from Genelg shopping strip. Only negative is the lack of rooms for older people as the shower is over a deep bath. The room did not folder containing hotel information such as pool, bar or restaurant hours which would have been useful. Highly recommend this hotel.

“Beachfront Gem”

The location of this hotel is just amazing, it is right on the beach situation amongst numerous restaurants, cafes and shops. The ocean view room was very spacious with a good size balcony. Would stay there again in a heart beat. It's a gem.

“Not Value, Do not stay here!!”

I was greated with disinterested check in lady, ( take it or leave it attitude). Car park underneath, 2 pay stations not work. Go through hotel dearer?? Room was very poor position, no remote for tv ( very over valued) so unhappy first time ever paid to change rooms! Hotel not busy no reason, not interested in customer service! Moved to new room, nice room clean but for the price missing little things. Again tv remote not work, no tissues, bare minimum toiletries, coffee/ tea very minimal. For the great position, for the lack of service, room facilities this is the worse experience I have had a hotel EVER! Easy to fix problems if they were interested in doing so. When I checked in manager fixing another complaint on phone, said it all for my experience as well as others where experiencing as well. Would have to be major changes before ever staying with this chain again! Looking forward yet again to my Novotel hotel stay in 2 weeks in Coffs Harbour, they know how to look after their customers, rooms better prepared!

“Perfect Location”

Thoroughly recommend this hotel. The location is fantastic - right on the beach and close to everything. I booked an ocean view room which was excellent. Although when I checked in I was put in a studio room (no ocean view) and was then told that the hotel was fully booked. This was however sorted out for me and I was given an ocean view apartment as booked. The only downfall is parking. The public car park below the hotel is convenient but the ticket machines are terrible - don't get a fine like I did!

“Be Aware”

While we found the accommodation met our needs we were amazed that we were expected to pay $16/day for parking (it is Public Parking). The hotel would organise it for $19/day. On two nights of our stay, the parking area was full and we had to find an alternative. We found that it is best to prearrange with the hotel for reserved parking. In this day and age it is surprising that there was no wireless internet available in the room. It is available, but the cost is $10/half hour.

“Great Place to Enjoy Glenelg and Adelaide From”

Very nice hotel with excellent facilities and close to everything Glenelg has to offer. Our 2 bedroom apartment was spotless clean and in excellent condition although the tv reception could have been better. We dined at the onsite restaurants and found the meals excellent and the service much better than we have come to expect. Cost of accomodation and meals etc was very reasonable and we will definitely stay here again. We have no hesitation in recommending a visit to Glenelg and a stay at this hotel.
