"For travelers looking for a cheaper option near the Loop, it's difficult to beat. A half block off Michigan Avenue and the adjacent Grant Park, the hotel is older and no-frills (it even has window air-conditioners) but it is clean, quiet and comfortable, and the front desk is helpful. If all you're looking for is a shower and good night's sleep, and don't mind walking a few extra blocks to access downtown, it's a great deal."

We reserved queen beds and have serious doubts they weren’t doubles, the exhaust fan didn’t work in the bathroom, and the walls were paper thin. Thankfully the other guests were quiet and polite.
