Great air-conditioning after a long day in the heat. Followed up with an hour and a half hit stone massage (amazing)! .

This is my second time staying at this resort while visiting Ubud. Can’t express how amazing my stay was. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. They also remembered me and my family. It truly feels like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

Wapa undoubtedly has a cult-like following. I have visited Ubud multiple times, read countless glowing reviews, and decided that on this trip I would experience what I now call the "Wapa Effect" for myself. With two locations—one in Ubud and another in Sidemen, which I plan to visit in a few weeks—I was eager to see whether the reputation lived up to the hype. It absolutely did. I was fortunate enough to stay during their twice-a-year Charity Auction Dinner, which was an incredible experience in itself and a perfect introduction to the heart and soul of Wapa. What became immediately clear is that the highly trained staff truly understands the art of hospitality. This is the reason behind the property's loyal following and why so many guests return again and again. Their ability to remember guests by name, anticipate needs, and remain consistently attentive without ever being intrusive is a rare skill. More importantly, every interaction feels genuine. Whether you are staying in a standard room or a luxury villa, the staff has a remarkable ability to make every guest feel special, valued, and appreciated. They create an atmosphere where everyone feels like a VIP. As someone who has traveled extensively around the world, I understand the difference between good service and exceptional hospitality. Wapa belongs firmly in the latter category.

The atmosphere was perfect and the welcoming staff make the visit personal and memorable.

Overall a very good stay for the price. Location was excellent and the hotel itself was quite luxurious. The only complaint if any, is the mixed quality of the ala carte breakfast items. It’s not a deal breaker though.

The property itself was beautifully made, organized, and outstanding. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable!

Rooms were older. We did not like how the bathroom was as after shower the whole bathroom would be wet! Beds were comfortable. Nice setting with nature around. Wa quite inside and not really walkable but I think most places in Ubud are like that. Breakfast was excellent! Restaurant had great options! Just be aware that they have 2 separate properties under same name and it was very confusing since both resorts also have the same spa named Radha .. our uber took us to the wrong one and we had to pay double :( We were not aware there were 2 properties ( resort is closer to markets while the suites and villas appears to be more new but further away ) Overall good stay! Staff spoke English! Not overpriced. We didn’t walk anywhere as our tour taxi came to pick and drop daily so I guess it’s location was overall convenient enough!

This place is a refuge hidden and preserved. Lush green valleys only minutes from busy streets. Staff are kind and helpful. Rooms are beautiful and the pool refreshing. Food is good. Hugh marks.
