Clean room, friendly staff, and comfortable bed. The only thing that could be better are the pillows. They are really thin.

Very rundown hotel. Plumbing didn’t work, paint peeling. TV is old ( not a smart tv)and didn’t work. I was told they had several complaints about the old satellite they have. But nothing they could do about it. Resort fees are expensive $185.00 for what they offer. The pool is rundown. They charge an average amount for overnight parking. $55 a night plus tax. Housekeeping is upon request. Then I was told it’s only offered every other day. So, when I did request it the day before at 4:30pm. I arrived back the next day around 5pm to get ready for dinner. I had to wait another 15 mins for the person to finish cleaning up my room. I wouldn’t care so much, however I left my room at 7am. The list goes on, I had to ask for more towels throughout my entire stay. As well as extra pillows. They only give you two very flat pillows on the beds. The nicest people at the resort were the valet guys!

Beautiful Lakeside Setting, but Service and Maintenance Need Improvement The stunning lake views and peaceful surroundings are undoubtedly what make this property a destination. Unfortunately, several aspects of our stay fell short of expectations. Our experience with the front desk was disappointing. We had requested a specific floor in advance and were assured by a manager that it would not be a problem. Upon arrival, however, staff dismissed the request, stating it was never guaranteed. We understand requests depend on availability, but the argumentative and dismissive attitude, particularly in front of other guests, was unprofessional. The rooms have lovely layouts, attractive tilework, cabinetry, and amenities. However, cleanliness and maintenance need attention. Walls and ledges appeared neglected, the main blind was broken and had to be tied up, and the living room furniture was noticeably worn. The bed was also extremely hard. Another concern was the unpleasant smell throughout the guest room floors. Housekeeping carts occupied the hallways much of the day, detracting from the atmosphere. Improved cleanliness and a subtle, natural fresh scent would enhance the experience. Positives: Beautiful lake views, quiet location, excellent coffee machine, thoughtful room layout, and lovely soaking tub. Overall, this property has tremendous potential, but service, cleanliness, and maintenance should better reflect the quality expected of a destination hotel.

Breakfast and happy hour here was great! The location is perfect for going to all the places we like here in Waikiki. The staff was amazing and nice.
