It was a great stay, location is a bit out of the way but in a very nice quieter area of the city, was very happy with our room aside from the fact the “windows” were beside a stack of machines so sounded like an airplane going off, they did offer to change rooms but we stayed as the room we had was very modern and bright. Breakfast included for one morning was average, overall recommend staying here and the hotel itself is so quiet.

Very convenient - you walk out and you’re at USJ! They had a welcome drink ticket where you stop by for juice or tea. They had corn soup and a chocolate fountain with marshmallows which my kids loved (we visited the cafe area nightly just for this).

Everything keeps in the brand standard it suppose to be. Large and cozy room and nice view. Close to train station. One drawback is the room decoration amd facilites such as a/c control is outdated, renovation and refurbishment are definitely in needed.

Outstanding hotel — the best of my Japan trip
HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO delivered an exceptional stay from start to finish. The team is highly professional, and the hotel beautifully reflects Kyoto’s historical atmosphere—especially through the staff’s traditional attire and the stunning garden.
During my trip to Japan, I stayed in five hotels from well-known brands, and this property exceeded all of them in every aspect. It is the only hotel I would definitely return to, and I truly hope to see you again next year.
