This hotel is in a fantastic location and it is a very nice hotel but it should not be billed as a 5 star luxury hotel. It is really a 3.5 star hotel.
The biggest complaints are no elevator, they do have a dumb waiter for bags.
The windows are single pane (barely). When people walk ups and down the Suez Canal or Nurses walk you can hear every conversation. There is a bar behind the property that gets loud as well.
Next is no bottled water but the staff did tell me I could feel free to drink out of the sink in the room or go to the bar and get it from the tap there.
Would I stay here again? No. Would I recommend it to friends or family…no, not billed as a luxury hotel.

We were pretty disappointed with this hotel. We called for reception 4 times throughout our stay and no one answered- they got our room service order wrong- the drain in our bathroom was soo dirty and filled with hair…. Not what I’d expect for a $500+ a night room.

Our room was compact but was clean, well maintained and had everything one needs for a short stay. The fridge, toilet, shower and extractor fan in the bathroom, as well as the air-conditioner in the room all worked well. The mattress was comfortable. The staff allowed us an earlier check in. There's a pizzeria close by that does brekky and opens every morning at 7am. A nice stay in a pretty place.
