Excellent hotel and staff

The room was very clean & private and the pool and views were great.

Room was always clean and spacious. Cleaners excellent as well as all staff, (reception and restaurant) all friendly. Food was good at breakfast and quick service. Really enjoyed our stay.

It was an amazing experience at the resort. The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the beautiful pool area and beach. A few small improvements would make the experience even more consistent with a five-star hotel: adding extra towel or robe hooks in the shower area, installing a hygienic shower in the bathroom, and providing a capsule coffee machine in the room. The location is also very convenient—just a short taxi or bus ride from Platania, with many restaurants and shops. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room and grounds were immaculate and the staff in all areas could not have been more friendly and helpful. We loved the pool area and the beach. The breakfast was wonderful, lots of choice and nothing was ever empty.

Very poor English skills and absolute zero knowledge of other languages can be challenging for guests who do not speak English. The pool is miniature, shallow, and there is a huge lack of order regarding sunbed reservation (be prepared that some jerk will simply throw away your towels and lie on your sunbed while you are in the restroom or getting a drink, and the staff won't do anything about it). The animation program is also very poor. The food is repetitive, but you won't stay hungry. Local drinks are terrible, juices are overly sweet, and you won't see a lemon even in traces. You cannot get a fresh lemonade even for money. The guy who drives the golf cart to the beach (better known as Habibi) is an absolute gem of a man. The rooms are clean, and the maid comes every day. You only get water upon arrival; later you have to buy it. Sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach are charged. Realistically, I would barely give this hotel three stars.

Decent hotel overall which ticks all the boxes without quite reaching any particular 'wow' factor. The private loungers on the beach were a highlight and the beach is clean with good sand, clear water and great for swimming. Theres also 2 additional pools which are decent and not busy even in peak season when we visited. Being an adults only hotel meant that it was peaceful without noisy kids taking over, however there are a lot of screeching cicadas in the area which are a bit like sitting next to a car alarm especially on the room's balcony area. We opted for half board which was unnecessary as we went into town for dinner, the evening buffet was ok but not amazing, breakfast buffet was good though. From chatting to locals this is one of the bigger hotels in the area and one of the few adults only. Its well regarded locally but having been to varoius other 5 star places it wasnt exceptional, but for Chania its a very good option. The hotel is well located with a handy public bus service into old town; Chania town is very pleasant and has a lot of good places to eat but the best restaurants are away from the harbour. Overall an enjoyable stay.
