Our stay at this accommodation was exceptionally wonderful. The property itself was absolutely beautiful—timeless, elegant, and truly a special place to relax and unwind. He attended to all of our needs with genuine warmth and care, making us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay. In the evening, he made us drinks and desserts by the fire. To make our visit even more special, Philip surprised us with a beautiful birthday treat to celebrate my husband's birthday. The next morning, he greeted us with a delicious breakfast, and his company was so warm, embracing, and enjoyable. His hospitality truly made our experience unforgettable. We had an incredible stay in the most peaceful and comfortable room (Kelly) with a stunning vista, the staff aren’t on site at all times, and there is a beautiful self-service communal kitchen that is well appointed with some tasty local basics (cakes, jams, toast). I certainly couldn’t have asked for anything more, it’s exactly what we wanted. But don’t expect full service with amenities galore. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Charming retreat close to everything. We had a great short stay here and would definitely come again. The room was very comfortable (especially the heated tiles in the ensuite) and the whole building itself and the grounds were beautiful. Lovely breakfast including their in-house apricot jam.

Blissful Birchs Bay was the perfect base for exploring southern Tasmania. We were welcomed by a warm, cosy home that immediately felt inviting. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped for families. The views were beautiful, the beach was right at our doorstep, and we loved spending time watching the birds and wildlife. Our kids especially enjoyed exploring outside and playing the board games provided during the rainy weather. The hosts were incredibly helpful, with excellent communication and a detailed guide full of local recommendations that really enhanced our trip. We left feeling relaxed and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Great location - bit pricey

I do not normally post reviews but felt it deemed some feedback .The property interior was not visually clean with broken side entry door,stains on the elevator and hallway carpets . In the room there were stained ceiling tiles and bathroom ceilng was falling down . Noise level containment between floors was poor .Reception was closed overnight so there was no option for complaints to be addressed. Our stay was 5 nights and housekeeping did not enter our room once during the timeline. Overall a very poor experience.
