Mekong Lowlands Scuba Diving Holidays

For starters the lobby is beautiful. I felt like we were staying in a temple less than a hotel. Secondly, the staff were superb, right away they went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. From a welcome drink to a moist towel upon arrival. Our planned trip had us arrive one day earlier than we anticipated and the quickly added an additional day to the front end and provided an upgrade to boot. The room was a little dated and a bit quirky, but that added to the charm. We dined at the restaurant twice and it was very good. We actually met a couple in the elevator who were there just because of the restaurant. All in all a great stay. We would definitely go back. As good as everything was, the staff is what stood out the most. I have never felt so welcomed and cared for at a hotel in my life. Highly Recommended!!

The property was being upgraded so the bar and restaurant was moved from roof top to ground floor. This should have been made aware at time of booking that planned work was being carried out. Noise of builders throughout the day especially on a Saturday. Staff were noisy on the floor around 8am when trying to sleep. Hotel was clean, ultra modern and staff were helpful. Great location and well worth the money. Would recommend now work has been completed

Super friendly staff and good location in the heart of BKK1, an expat centered part of the city. Safe and clean. Its also an apartment complex for expats so there are residents whom are respectful and kind. They are not very good at enforcing health rules though, like noise pollution (loud loud music from the neighbors), and not able to reinforce the no smoking rule in the apartments. But the staff are always responsive and try their best to fix things

This is my second stay and just want to say the staff is incredible! Especially the Tuk Tuk to driver “Mr Sun“ I specifically came back to this hotel because of the excellent service, knowledge of the city and accommodations made by Mr Sun. Amazing employee. Thank you Palace Gate Hotel
