Great hotel tucked in a quiet neighborhood. Close to Jimbocho and several train or metro stations are a short walk away. Very clean and comfy rooms. Staff is really nice! Would definitely stay again :)

Great property, the garden is gorgeous, one can spend a hours there interacting with nature. They done a great job preserving Japanese culture. Amazing bath amenities. The staff is a bit rigid and could be more welcoming. Location is not ideal but honestly you don’t need to leave the property unless for sightseeing. I would suggest this hotel for a last day or two to relax before flying back home. We tried the spa and it was pretty good.

Great property, the garden is gorgeous, one can spend a hours there interacting with nature. They done a great job preserving Japanese culture. Amazing bath amenities. The hotel says it’s a luxury 5* hotel. It’s not. It’s old and dated and it smells musty. We arrived and they put us in a prince suite. It was awful. I went to front desk and told them it did not look like the photos. They changed our room to a panoramic suite which was very nice of them. The room was more updated but the bathrooms weren’t. This hotel is not a 5* and the location is not great. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The concierge helped us find a local restaurant that had excellent food at a reasonable price. They have a beautiful garden accessible from the second floor. I would highly recommend the hotel for a relaxing and peaceful stay.
