Beach and staff were amazing

We recently stayed at Seapoint and could not have been more pleased with our stay. The staff were exceptionally courteous and attentive throughout—professional, warm, and consistently helpful. The accommodations were clean and well maintained, with beautiful ocean views. The food was excellent—fresh, well prepared, and consistently high quality. A memorable stay that reflects genuine pride in service and execution.

Pros-the property and rooms were clean Staff members were professional, attentative, helpful, hard working and polite at all times Good quality of food and night shows (ABBA was spectacular!) Cons - the gym is small and lacks toilet facilities. Lack of designated spaces for smokers, therefore we were exposed to second hand smoking! Lack of recycle receptacles in rooms and throughout the property.

Our stay at Lux Grande Gaube was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness, and a level of hospitality that truly exceeded all expectations. The food throughout the resort was fantastic, with a special mention to Bodrum restaurant, which was an absolute highlight of our stay. Every meal was beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and made for a wonderful dining experience. What really made our holiday unforgettable, however, were the incredible staff. A huge thank you to Reedoo on the beach, who went above and beyond every single day to make sure everyone was comfortable. He was incredibly attentive, always responsive, and seemed to anticipate what guests needed before they even had to ask. His friendliness and genuine care made such a difference to our experience. Elena from front of house was equally wonderful — so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. She always greeted us with a smile and made us feel truly valued as guests. A special mention also goes to Maeva from the entertainment team, who took us on a fantastic bike tour around the island. Her knowledge of Mauritius was incredible, and she made us feel safe and looked after at all times, regularly checking that we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. She was great fun to spend time with and so patient throughout the experience. And last but certainly not least, Kamal from housekeeping deserves the biggest praise. I had a wonderful vacation in the Resort, and my overall experience was excellent. The resort is beautiful, relaxing, and very well maintained, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy Mauritius. I would like to give a special thank you to the housekeeping supervisor for his outstanding service. Late at night, around 12:00 a.m., when some food was accidentally spilled on the deck, he personally came to assist. He brought a mop and cleaned the area himself with great care and professionalism. This level of dedication, especially at such a late hour, truly reflects the high standards and genuine hospitality of the resort staff. Moments like this made my stay even more special. I truly appreciate the kindness and responsiveness of the team, and I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for excellent service and a memorable vacation in Mauritius.
