While island hopping and hiking are wonderful offerings, incorporating additional on-site and land-based experiences can provide more variety and engagement. Some recommendations include: Non-Water On-Site Activities: • Pool Table / Billiards – Great for indoor entertainment during the evenings or rainy days. • Board Games & Card Sets – Readily available in the common lounge or for borrowing. • Foosball, Air Hockey, or Darts • Mini Library or Book Exchange Corner • Outdoor Movie Nights – Weekly or bi-weekly events can be a nice touch. • Local Cooking Classes or Cultural Demonstrations – Allow guests to immerse themselves in the local lifestyle. • Live Acoustic Music Nights – Especially during weekends or peak seasons. Astoria Palawan was a nice visit. Pros: pool, cafe ( wishes it opened sooner and closed a lot later), outdoors green and lush and beautiful gardens. Walk to the beach. Breakfast and dinner buffets. Entertainment . Tours. Cons: kinda smelled and was humid in the hallway but it is in a tropical paradise. Room was roomy but bed too firm. Overall a nice visit

Great staff service from the front desk, to the restautant, housekeepingand the security guard. Everyone's kind and welcoming, always greeting you when they see you walking around the place. The property is right by the water, which offers a great view of the nearby islands. There was a storm when I was there and it rained a lot, there were some areas that had some water leaks due to the rain, nut the staff was proactive in moving guests that may have been affected by it. I would stay here again.

Close to everything and the port for all island tours. Nice place for budget travel

This property was amazing!!! The staff are SUPER FRIENDLY and always greeted you with a smile 😃 The beach and the water was sooo pristine! You can see everything in that beautiful clear ocean water! It was also great that they had kayaks, paddle boards and snorkelling gear available to use with out additional costs. Lastly the sunset at Discovery Coron was unreal especially when the fruit bats started to migrate to other islands during sunset! All the guest at the Discovery Coron came out to watch the most beautiful sunset as well as the bat. Thank you Discovery Coron for such a wonderful and most memorable experience/stay!! My husband and I will definitely come back!!

Loved the hotel and grounds and pier/dock overlooking the water. Welcome beverage and nightly cookies were a sweet unexpected treat. Close to town w/ little moped-taxi's that were always available. Pool was great, and we did tapas daily by the pool. Would stay again.
