I only stayed there for one night. Hotel was clean. I had a queen room. Room was small but comfortable. There was no refrigerator in the room. Shower head was not great. For one night it was fine. Breakfast was very tasty. Glad I pre payed for it online though as I saved $15.

Staff are always nice and I love the area!

This was a wonderful hotel to stay at over the weekend! Nearby is a wonderful Brazilian restaurant I went to every day, Bossa Nova, and in the opposite direction was a lovely donut/ice cream/hot dog shop I went to on the last day. I paid a bit more than I usually would so I could get a corner suite, and it was beautiful! I imagined living my entire life there lol. Everything was extremely comfortable. I did notice some scratches on some doors and a missing lightbulb in a lamp, but nothing that truly impeded my stay. The staff were very accommodating, even when they missed a wakeup call I requested the night before and hence I missed my bus back home, they did everything in their capabilities to cater to my needs after purchasing another bus ticket, such as allowing me to securely store my bags in the locked lobby closet, allowing me to access the closet throughout the day after my time in the room was up, and providing me with a card to access the floor of amenities for the hotel until it was time for my departure. Missing my bus due to a staff member failing to note down my wakeup call request cost me roughly $100 and a day of work, but I was refunded one day's fees worth almost $40, and the staff did their best to accommodate me. I also had an unexpectedly great day wandering around the city after having a packed schedule through the weekend, so for that I am thankful. Downtown LA is truly wonderful and this is the best hotel in the area.

It was my first solo trip & I was definitely very nervous going into this because the reviews were half & half BUT, I absolutely loved everything about CitizenM! Checking in was easy, the room was so cozy, I loved that everything was controlled by the iPad & there was security there every time I entered and exited the building. I’d 100% recommend this place & when I come back to LA, I will be staying here again!

Every bit of this hotel was fabulous! The old Hollywood vibe was fantastic! The food was delicious. The staff was wonderful. The accommodations were absolutely five star.

My only complaints are: There was what appeared to be some sort of vomit or maybe food on the rug in our room. The rugs/carpet in general could use a cleaning or replacing. The pool could be open a bit longer. It closes at sunset. They also need a blender to make blended drinks! The staff is amazing. They are polite, professional, friendly, and eager to make your stay as comfortable as possible. From the concierge, valet, kitchen staff, and cleaning crew to the bartender and spa staff. They truly make your stay top notch. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The resort is very close to the ocean, though the photos are a bit misleading since they make it look like you just go out the door onto the beach. It’s about a mile walk to get there. The massage therapist was amazing. They bring everything to your room and tailor the massage to your preferences. The deep tissue massage was exactly what I needed. I would definitely stay again!

Alice and the staff in the Gold Experience were beyond helpful. Loved the room, balcony and service overall.

Great stay, the hotel had everything we needed for a conference and Disneyland stay. Plenty of options nearby for food and hotel itself was clean, quiet and comfortable

I like how classy the place was. I didn’t like all the secret fees and forced to pay for parking.

It’s a great place close to many spots, it’s a good and safe resort to sleep if your on vacation and will be shopping or at theme parks the whole day, it doesn’t have a big pool or restaurant or so but it’s a clean and good hotel.
