Moorea-Maiao Mountain Holidays

Room was great. It was large with an amazing view. Overall, the hotel staff were friendly. Check in was very delayed and a little disorganized. The manager was involved with numerous dissatisfied guests but after check in the stay was wonderful. The pool, the view from our room and anywhere on the property is amazing. Great place to relax before flying out on late flight.

The resort was stunning. Fabulous location and views. Our room was clean, and suitable for staying a few nights. Limited drawers, hangers. Food was EXPENSIVE and we do not feel it was good value for the money. Service was inconsistent... depending on the wait staff. Overall the staff was very friendly spoke English and very accomodating. Would rate this higher if the food was priced better, meaning I think $75.00 CA per person Monday to Saturday and $105. pp on Sunday buffet. If you want to eat alacarte you need to order room service or grab something premade at a counter. Room service 3 egg omlette with toast + pancakes with a fruit sald + 2 coffee was $85. CA. Yes, hot, and came very quickly, but add 17 for delivery and tip and it adds up pretty quick.

Amazing stay, would go back multiple times if possible. Room was spotless and equipped with everything we needed. The pool, grounds and restaurants were beautiful. The beach is small but it has plenty of chairs and shade. We didn’t spend any time in the pool since we mostly snorkeled and paddled when we were there. The fish in the reefs in the lagoon by the hotel were vibrant and worth every cent. We didn’t take a separate snorkeling tour in Moorea like we had to in Bora Bora be a use this hotel has many fish in it’s lagoon (unlike our Bora Bora hotel). It was lovely and the Polynesian show was very nice. The breakfast was excellent. Maururu.

Great stay! We were welcomed with fresh flowers. Free stand up paddle and kayaking are also enjoyed very much!

We had no hot water in our room. However, the hotel went to great lengths to remedy the issue, including paying for multiple breakfasts and lunches. They also allowed us to use the changing rooms to shower where there was hot water. They were sold out so another room wasn’t an option. It was disappointing that the facilities weren’t fully functional, but the manager stepped up to remedy the issue. They showed that they cared and that’s what matters.
