Modern room, clean everywhere, excellent services

The staff are polite and the room is clean

There were renovations in progress close to our room, causing it to be very noisy. On our arrival, we found it way too noisy. We were moved to a more quiet side of the hotel. Staff very accommodating without an6 hassles.

Hotel is getting very dated. Guests' luggage were all over the check-in lobby. Front desk staffs were very efficient and helpful. Room is clean but furnishings are just too out-dated. There was no power outlet next to the bed so I had to ask for a power strip from hose keeping. They delivered the item to the room within ten minutes.

Shops are down the hill. LKF is close if you’re having. A drink. Hotel is convenient but I went when it was relatively mild so it might be difficult for some to come up the escalators. Overall I will come again. Prices very wildly even in the same week so keep a look out and book when it’s cheap. 🙏

Although the response was quick whenever we reported issues (missing towels, leaking showers, unmade room), the fact is, these are really "Bare Basic" requirements for a hotel. This was disappointing given the "Brilliant Basics" tagline used in their advertising. The leaking showers ultimately couldn't be fixed as it was a much bigger problem than just a broken door seal -- it was as if they had amatuer home handymen putting their bathrooms together originally, with the hinge positioning on the shower door leaving a huge gap channelling water from inside the shower straight out onto the bathroom floor. The upsides? We appreciated they made effort to locate our family's 3 booked rooms on the same floor, with 2 of them interconnecting. The beds were comfy although the pillows were strange -- either too high or too low/soft. Foosball table in the foyer was great for entertaining waiting kids. Water filter machines appreciated however 2 out of 3 were not functioning. For the price, I could have stayed at the Hari instead of booking a junior suite at Ying n Flo, but only booked here to align with relatives on a budget who had already booked Ying n Flo.
