The location was great, the pools and beach were great. Eating outdoors was nice, hot but so beautiful. The Premium King Garden View Plunge room was very unattractive with lots of dead plants, maintenance items visible, the plunge pool had a broken light and cracked/discolored finish. The refrigerator/cooler wasn’t properly cooling anything. The biggest disappointment was how my concerns were handled by management. I found the manager confrontational rather than helpful. We were offered a room change for the final night and a complimentary future night, but neither of those were helpful for our current stay. I let him know that I don’t drink, and that the plunge pool was a big part of the reason I booked but wasn’t able to use it. He offered me a bottle of champagne. Just tone-deaf. The room was nice but the patio situation and pool were very run down and far from a luxury hotel.
