Fantastic hotel and location. I recommend the hotel Arpoador to everyone going to Rio. I loved it so much I left another hotel and came back for my last night in Rio. It’s worth every penny, oceanfront and town views.

We stayed at the hotel with family and friends for a week to attend a wedding
It was very convenient, in a safe area and is well maintained. the housekeeping staff do a great job
We ate at Canto several times - Food and service is excellent
During our stay there was a festival lunch in the Grand Ballroom - the buffet spread, music and service was marvellous
The highlight for us was The Grand Club. Such helpful, kind and pleasant staff and a good selection of food at breakfast and cocktail hour,
Only negative was that despite booking numerous rooms, an upgrade for two nights was declined, apart
