Yucatan Peninsula Fishing Holidays

The rooftop patio room we got was amazing, eating breakfast up there every day watching the sunrise over the ocean was the best I’ve had out of anywhere I’ve gone down south. And then me and my girlfriend would set up an iPad to watch Netflix on the rooftop while we drink wine and ate cheese watching the sun go down over the ocean. Five stars on that experience

Only problem was given 3rd floor rooms in Villa 46 for guests in their 70s with bad knees. We weren't told no elevator. Request for lower level rooms promptly honored. Thank you! We didn't mention it while there because everything else was exceptional - but rooms smelled like mold/mildew, damp clothes never dried out, hair was always frizzy. There's a water problem in those lower level villas just FYI

perfect resort for families with young children!

Staff was good, rooms were clean, food was made available except for a late night arrival. Pool temperature was colder than we expected, the gulf waters were a few degrees warmer than the pools.

What a great hotel! 20 min walk to the main action in Tulum. The jungle suite was spacious, and the private dip pool was hard to beat. The service and staff are great. I’d stay again. I’d otherwise give 5 stars, but the staff gives mixed messages about how the Expedia credit works. It lead to the on site (but unaffiliated!) Fara Fara restaurant staff lying to us and telling us that they were included in the credit multiple time up until the moment the bill came. I needlessly spent money at that restaurant, starting my vacation off on a bad note. The hotel could be better about explaining what qualifies for the credit AND ensuring that unaffiliated restaurants do not lie to guests to scam them out of money. The hotel will not refund you for this, only keep open the existing unused credit for their affiliated services.
