The Sukhothai is as always, AMAZING! I have tried other hotels in Shanghai, but they just can't top The Sukhothai. The rooms are immaculate, the staff is amazing, the surrounding areas are great - Cheesecake Factory at the mall and the giant Starbucks Reserve down the street. The spa is also wonderful. Will never stay anywhere else in Shanghai!

You can't go wrong when you stay in a hotel that is strategically located right at the heart of Nanjing Road West, the shopping district and pedestrian mall. The Bund is only a few hundred meters down the road. In addition, Hop On Hop Off busses are close by. The room is well furnished, clean and comfortable to be our home away from home during our stay in Shanghai.

It’s Fine, but for that price I wanted more than fine. The staff is amazing though very friendly. A few issues with cleanliness ( cigarette butts near the doors of the elevator and hair that wasn’t mine in my bathtub found upon arrival) I was looking forward to using the amenities but there is no spa, no steam room and no sauna available to women, only men have access to a sauna. The hotel does have a nice location. I stayed in Shanghai at the start of my trip and at the end,the beginning I stayed at the Conrad. The Conrad is right next door and about the same price but the service and amenities there were exceptional. Go there instead

Hotel is clean and the housekeeping Ms Hao is excellent service and very friendly and responsive fast.reception Ms Lena also very helpful to helping find out information that I need.fully experience and enjoying stay in this hotel.

Hotel is in a great location it’s as center as you can get in Shanghai close to one of the most popular shopping streets that leads you right down to the bund. Great views from the higher floors of the Shanghai skyline and nice size rooms would recommend especially for any western travelers to Shanghai, much appreciated, cheers!

Amazing hotel, staff were always so friendly and helpful. It was located in a great area too.
