Wakasu Fishing Holidays

We stayed here for three nights as a family of four. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the room was spacious enough for all of us. We especially appreciated that the bathroom and toilet were separate, which made the stay feel almost like being at home. We had four large suitcases, but there was still plenty of space to open them up, so we were very comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel is located in an area surrounded by office buildings and apartment complexes. It can feel a little quiet at night, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a lively area where you can walk around in the evening. However, if you prefer a quiet and peaceful place, this is a great choice.

Honestly the check in process was absolutely awful. It took ages to check in every guest because of various inefficiencies that caused huge lineups. Every other property that we stayed in was streamlining efficient and pleasant. On the whole the staff were wonderful apart from the rooftop bar where we were interrogated re our status (registered guests) and informed that we would have to sit at the bar unless we paid a hefty booth charge. On the upside the room that we booked had an unusual view of the park that was an unexpected silver lining. There was a small balcony which made it feel like a beautiful outdoor space as well as very different from the general vibe of the hotel. Highly recommend asking for a low floor (ours was 3) park view.

This hotel is really incredible - the staff is lovely, the rooms are big and comfortable and the grounds are just gorgeous and peaceful. I was devastated to only be there one night but it was awesome nonetheless

I got a room on the 11th floor, tower facing view. Was a big room for Japan! 2 double beds enough for 2 people to sleep on! Clean friendly nice hotel

The property was very clean and the staff were very kind and polite! We went down most mornings for the breakfast! There is a bar right there that you can every day sit from 5:30 to 6:30 for happy hour and have free beer! Everything there is kinda on this small side in Japan, but the rooms large enough to relax and shower ! I was therefore exploring and didn’t plan on spending all my time in my hotel room! I even got dinner there a few times and it was very good! I stayed there for two weeks and I was on the second floor, which is right next to the laundry room, which was nice! I really enjoyed the rooftop! I like to go to the 10th floor and grab me a drink from their drink machine and then sit out there on the rooftop and just watch the sky and stars and look over the side. The staff there was very friendly and accommodating! The location was right next to Kawasaki Metro! Plenty of shopping, plenty of bars, close to 7-eleven as well as Lawson’s! I would highly recommend it if you’re not really looking for luxury, but a clean and comfortable place to relax and rest your head!

Front desk staff was wonderful. Both restaurants were high end without being cold and stuffy. Rooms were cleaned beautifully. Amenities bar was a little weak. Neighborhood was quiet. Easy walk to many stations.
