Know before you book

  • Itinerary order is subject to change depending on traffic, weather or any operational reasons.
  • Due to the weather, traffic conditions, or suspension of operation, we may have a possibility not to achieve all the activities. The tour will be attending to alternative place or giving out a gift as a compensation depending on a situation at that time. Refunds will not be given for these changes.
  • Due to Japanese law changes from April 2024, if delays push our arrival at Odawara Station past 5:30pm, we will skip the Hakone Shrine visit. No refunds or compensations. Please understand before boarding.
  • The lunch/restaurant may change due to operational reasons.
  • Vegetarian and Muslim options available, but please request upon booking. Halal, Vegan meals, Allergy-friendly meals, etc. are not available. Please book the tour without lunch and bring your own lunch.
  • Due to Japanese law changes from April 2024, if delays push our arrival at Odawara station past 5:30pm, we will skip the Hakone Shrine visit. No refunds or compensations. Please understand before booking.
  • Please note that you will not be able to bring large luggage that exceeds the total height, width and length of 160cm onto non-reserved cars of the Shinkansen. (E.g. 80cm x 50cm x 30cm)

What you can expect

Escape from Tokyo and discover Japan's natural miracle around the World Heritage Mt. Fuji and Hakone in 1 day!
In this tour, we will take you to Mt. Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan and listed as a World Heritage in 2013. We will also take you to Hakone, famous for its natural beauty and breathtaking views through Lake Ashi.

We start the tour from the centre of Tokyo, Shinjuku (Love statue) at 8 am.
A comfortable air-conditioned coach will first take you all the way up to the 5th station of Mt. Fuji, 2,000 metres above the ground. Take a deep breath at the wonderful nature in Mt.Fuji while seeing the magnificent scenery. Also, feel the sacred atmosphere at the Japanese Shinto Shrine there
*If we cannot go up there, we will attend the highest available point on the day and if it is only the first station or the driveway is closed, we will visit Oshino Hakkai or an alternative place

Then the bus will take you to a buffet lunch spot with a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji!
Enjoy a Japanese Lunch buffet with local fresh ingredients as much as you like!

The bus heads to the Hakone area!
Starting with “Owakudani” a valley once called “Valley of Hell.”
It is still an active volcano with steam coming from the ground.

We will take a Hakone Rope, an exhilarating experience with an amazing view of Mt. Hakone. You can see the rich nature of the mountain.
This ropeway will take you to Lake Ashi, a caldera lake.
Enjoy the refreshing cruise of Lake Ashi and see the beautiful natural landscape and Mt. Fuji.

We are finishing at Hakone Shrine, one of the most famous shrines in the area because of its photogenic red torii gate floating on the water called “Torii of Peace.”

After having a peaceful time at the shrine, the bus will head to Odawara Station, and you will take a Japanese bullet train, Shinkansen , to Tokyo Station.
