We’ve just spent four nights at Casa de la Flora and it’s been the best hotel experience in the last 8 years of travelling the world together! We had booked a Beachfront Pool Villa and got a free upgrade to Grand Beach Front Pool Villa, our jaws hit the floor when first being shown round the room and the view of sea from our bedroom window was perfect for watching sunsets. The service from the staff is outstanding and there’s plenty of food options on the menu both in the restaurant and for in-room dining. We will definitely stay here again if holidaying in Khao Lak again in the future.

Stayed in a premium pool access room on a b&b basis. Breakfast was plentiful. Loved the omelette station! Spent most days on the beach where pla & thep were able to find us beds at any time of day and their energy was always positive. Our pool was clean and lovely to chill out by after a long day at the beach. We saw they had themed nights where you could pay if you werent AI. Outside the hotel there are lots of restaurants to choose from and new ones being built. Would definitely come back to graceland!

The Kantary Beach Hotel is quite a 15-20 minute drive north of Khao Lak. As it turned out we were quite happy with that, as Khao Lak is a typical busy tourist town, lacking in any great character. The Hotel did offer regular minibus transfers to and from Khao Lak, on chargeable basis, but we never fealt the need to visit Khao Lak. Instead we spent a few days relaxing by the Hotel pools, and strolling along the beautiful Coconut Beach. We did sample the Hotel restaurant on our first evening, but found it expensive and lacking in atmosphere, compared to what we had experienced elsewhere in Thailand. For others evening dinners we preferred to walk along the beach to a small selection of on the beach local restaurants, where we dined in candlelight as the waves gently rolled in. The local food was delicious and drinks reasonably priced. Our Hotel suite was very spacious and well appointed. Overall a nice place to stay with some good value dining within easy walking distance along the beach.
