I love everything about it

I don’t even know where to start. Every beautiful, brown face was welcoming. The waiters and waitresses were so friendly and polite. Santona is a young lady who works in the spa. She gave me a massage on my birthday (7/30/2025). She is such a wise and sweet young lady. The housekeepers kept our room so clean. I can honestly say I enjoyed my entire trip. The Silver Birds were so talented on the steel drums and energetic dance moves. They kept the entire crowd captivated. I sincerely pray the ENTIRE Riu Montego Bay staff is given the chance to spend a free week on the resort each year for as long as they work there. They deserve to be pampered and cared for the way it was given to me and others. They work hard each day with smiles on their faces in extreme heat with no complaints. I will tell everyone about my stay and encourage others to visit. Thank you so much! I miss you guys already!

I love how big the property was, but it still walkable. I saw carts going by with guest being transported to their desired destinations. The staff I encountered were friendly. Shoutout Anaya and Ortega. The A La Carte restaurants were my favorite, but the buffets for breakfast had tons of options. I think the sportsbar food could improve some, guest should be able to pre-reserve an A La Carte reataurant for their first night of arrival, and maybe have more restaurant lunch options.

The entertainment and the food were good. Great selection of dishes and multiple activities to choose from. I had to ask for the room upgrade and the champagne that was part of the VIP perk was not fulfilled. The sauna in the spa was under construction; however there was no notice or announcement on the website. Once my wristband was taken off, I requested for assistance to call my support car service at the guest experience desk a few minutes later, the employee did not care to help as I was already checked out. It would have been an overall great experience until one employee decided to be subpar at the end.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is a little too large and crowded for our liking. The food options were not very good. Out of all the restaurants we went to we never tasted anything we actually enjoyed. A good tip for exhausted travelers would be to let them check in and get to their rooms then try to book extra options a little later once they’ve had some time to unwind.

It was great loved it staff was kind and friendly. Hotel was beautiful!!!
