Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and well equipped. Great central location. Everything we needed within 15-30 mins walk.

This is our third time staying at the Scotsman. This time we selected a director room with city view, we stayed in room 702, it had wonderful views and a dining table surrounded by windows. We also chose to include breakfast, which I would also recommend considering. We have stayed in hotels in "new town" before also, but it wasn't the same. Different atmosphere and not as walkable. Staff are extremely helpful.

The flat was lovely, good location, it was very helpful to have luggage storage for when we had to check out but weren’t heading to train station for several hours. We had A LOT of trouble with our check in, mainly because information was sent on the day of check in,while we were traveling. We wish the security deposit could have been taken care of before we left home. Expedia staff did a wonderful job of helping us get things straightened out.

I had a single room and it was perfect for travelling solo. Very comfortable bed, quiet area, lovely housekeeping staff. Definitely would stay there again.

A great hotel in perfect location. The sushi samba restaurant is delicious if a little pricey. The bar is a great place to see the city

The heating wasn't great, and there was a cold draft from the window. I feel freezing in bed.
