Definitely worth getting a bungalow or upgrading to one which I did! The room was spacious, well kept, and the bathroom was glorious. It really did make my stay extra special. Huge resort which made it feel very open and peaceful. The beach is a hidden gem and all facilities well maintained (apart from a lack of airconditioning in the gym!) Buffet breakfast was fairly standard but fresh. Staff were incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming.

We loved our stay here! The staff was really friendly and helpful. We loved the pool and happy hour. They were under construction so a bit noisy, but had compliments to make up for it. Vietnam is under a lot of construction, so hard to avoid. The room felt a little hot, hard to get the AC to run properly. We loved the laundry service where they sent it to a local business for super cheap.

We spent five nights at L’Alya Ninh Van Bay as a family of four, and it was an incredible experience. The setting and privacy define this place. The resort sits in a quiet bay framed by mountains and open water, with so few villas that you rarely feel other guests around. That sense of space and calm is what makes it feel truly luxurious. On arrival, my wife actually started crying because she was so moved by how beautiful it was. The villas and grounds are immaculately maintained. Everything worked, nothing felt overlooked, and housekeeping serviced the room twice daily. Service was warm, attentive, and responsive. Our butler, An, was outstanding and made the stay seamless. Breakfast was excellent—fresh, varied, and well executed. A mix of Western and Vietnamese options, good fruit, strong coffee, and made-to-order items. It set the tone for the day. Food overall was very strong. The grouper grilled in banana leaf was a highlight (order in advance—they source it fresh for you). We also appreciated the personal engagement from the restaurant management team. A private sunset cruise on the catamaran—with canapés, bubbly, and a waterslide for the kids—was unforgettable. A true luxury experience defined by setting, privacy, and thoughtful execution. We’re very glad we chose to come here.

Fabulous hotel, own private beach with bar, swim up bar in pool, lovely chill atmosphere. A little bit out of the old town, but much quieter and only about 3-4 aud for an uber (grab) ride into town. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Had a few issues with aircon but was attended to immediately. Would highly recommend.
