The clean room and helpful staff!

The hotel was nice, staff was friendly, and the room was overall adequate for the price. It was also in walking distance from everything so that made it convenient. However, it’s near a fire station and a police station (I wasn’t aware when I booked this) and it is fairly noisy throughout the night and day with sirens/alarms. We also found a cockroach in our room (alive) and did not get our room cleaned on our 3rd day. Overall, wasn’t a horrible stay but not somewhere we would return.

Waited almost an hour to check in and there were only 2 agents checking. We get to our room and I found trash in my “clean” room. Tried to call FD and kept getting hung up on. The rest of the room looked OK and we had plans so we stayed. The next morning I found a pair of pants they did not belong to us at the top of the closet. There was the nicest housekeeper in the hall, and she came and took them away for us. The elevators were awful. They broke down frequently and we ended up taking 10 flights of stairs down every day and then just waiting on the elevators to go up to the 10th floor. Once again, we called to try to get help and inquire about the elevators and every time I call the front desk I was hung up on. I work at a hotel and I thought it was very messy in the halls and the areas with elevators had metros of dirty linens and a cart full of blankets. I’m assuming for people to take since it was so cold just look like nobody cared about the property and it was really rundown
