The hotel is well maintained and I was pleased that the room I stayed in was true to size.
Hotel amenities are great, and you can find local bars, eateries, and a supermarket less than 15 mins walk from the hotel. Old town is a 10-15 min drive away.
The walking bridge to Falesia beach was super convenient and I was very pleased with how easy the route was to access the beach.
I was slightly disappointed and shocked by the lack of female sanitary products available in and around the hotel. This is rarely an issue I face at other hotels.
I also would've appreciated knowing the reservation policy for the hotel restaurants, as they encourage that all reservations are made at least 2 days in advance. Unfortunately, this meant that the Italian restaurant at PortoBay Falesia was completely booked out by the time I arrived.

"We had a great experience at the hotel. The buffets and pools were excellent and our room was well maintained. We did experience an unpleasant smell from what we were told was the septic/plumbing and others in the area were said to be having similar issues due to climate."
