Staff were very friendly and welcoming, food was great, rooms were clean. Stayed for 9 nights and couldnt fault the place!

Nothing within walking distance

We stayed at Le Jadis in one of their beach villas, and for the price they charge, the experience was honestly disappointing. We found several bugs — on the couch and even in the bathroom — and there were a lot of mosquitos, with my wife getting the majority of the bites. For a supposedly five-star luxury villa, that’s really not acceptable. Parking was also a hassle. Despite staying in one of their premium villas, I was asked to park outside the resort because there wasn’t enough parking available. For a hotel in this price range, that’s simply poor planning and not the kind of experience you expect. When we requested a late checkout, the hotel only offered an extra hour, even though they confirmed they weren’t fully booked. This was especially disappointing after explaining that my wife is pregnant — the lack of empathy and flexibility really stood out. Some of the staff members were great, particularly the waiters, who were polite and attentive. However, the concierge service could be improved — when I asked a few basic questions, they didn’t seem to know the answers and had to check with the manager. To make matters worse, we were accused of taking extra snacks from the minibar, which we did not. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially given that we had already paid for a high-end villa experience. The food was good but limited, which again doesn’t justify the premium price tag. A Truly Memorable Stay – Warm, Welcoming, and So Worth It! My fiancé and I came from Canada and stayed two nights at Crystal Beach Resort Bellemare in December 2023 and it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the warm welcome to the incredible service, everything was exceptional. The food was fresh and varied, the drinks were great, and the entire staff from reception, housekeeping and restaurant made us feel genuinely cared for. As Mauritians living abroad, we were deeply touched by how respectfully we were treated just like any international guest. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been our experience at every hotels we’ve been in Mauritius, but this hotel made us feel truly seen, welcomed, and appreciated. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the heated pool was the cherry on top. We felt completely relaxed and on vacation. I loved it so much that we gifted a stay to my parents a 2 nights all-inclusive stay. It was their first-ever hotel getaway and they were absolutely glowing with happiness the entire time! If you’re looking for a peaceful, genuine, and high-quality stay in Mauritius, whether you’re local or visiting from abroad, we can’t recommend this hotelenough. We’ve already started recommending it to our friends and colleagues in Canada who are thinking about visiting Mauritius! Lux Belle Mare was just simply amazing and perfect!! All levels of staff were so friendly and could not do enough for you! The food choices were really great and so many options for different cuisines. Chefs at each counter were really friendly and would make fresh pancakes or naan bread for you. We also dined at Amari by Chef Vineet Bhatia and this was also really great and so worth the visit! The beach was absolutely beautiful too, white sandy beach with lots of loungers. However the swimming pool would have been great with more loungers. We were celebrating our pearl anniversary and they gave us a few different treats that made it all feel very special. Would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel! Thank you to everyone at the Lux Belle Mare!
