The room was very clean but had that older room musty smell. But it was very humid during my stay so that probably didn't help.
The AC in the room was very loud. I always bring earplugs with me so it was tolerable. I was settled in so I didn't call the desk to complain.
The guest laundry area was clean and safe.
All staff that I encountered were fantastic.
Anything I needed was sent to my room right away.
I was even given a popsicle while relaxing by the pool.

My room had a distinct smell to it, and I noticed that the dresser wasn’t checked bc there was clothes still in there. The amenities were amazing! The staff, especially Vanessa was extremely helpful. The staff I interacted with has been there for 11 years plus and you can tell that they enjoy their jobs.

Great easy place if you are visiting UCLA. Hotel is kind of run down but the beds were nice and firm, towels were soft and newer feeling. Comfortable. Nice place to grab a drink or quick bite outside by the pool. Would definitely stay again.

Our 5-night stay at the LA Grand Suites was perfect. The apartment was huge and clean, the AC worked perfectly, the kitchen was stocked with the essentials needed, the beds and pillows were comfy and the parking was an excellent addition. Well located in the Hollywood area, a short walk to Hollywood Blvd and a short drive to a fully stocked supermarket - Pavilions. The rooftop terrace was beautiful with great views but also super hot during our stay. Would definitely stay here again if we were lucky enough to return to beautiful California. The only suggestion I would make is to maybe have a top sheet on the bed as the comforter made things quite warm for sleep. Otherwise would not change a thing. Highly recommend!!!
