Staff and property were great. We had a room above the train track which made it a bit noisy the first night but staff kindly moved us to a better room for the second night at no charge.

Nice 4 star hotel in a good location. The breakfast was basic but if included in room rate is adequate but go outside if not as not worth it. Would be nice to see some Japanese options. They had a bakery in ground floor but bread kept running out. Hotel has laundry washing machine facilities which is good Close to Gion so good to walk around We asked for a refund as hotel price dramatically dropped 3 weeks before stay and they would not accommodate Rooms are small with a toilet in the shower area. They only give 2 bottles of water but you can always ask for more

Great hotel very gorgeous and clean. Breakfast was amazing there. Das was super helpful and loved to help out with my six month old while my husband and I ate. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back.

I have stayed in three other Ace Hotels nd Kyoto is by far my favourite! Convenient for access to so many sites, fantastic food and interesting shops right next to the lobby. Absolutely loved staying in this hotel.

The hotel is lovely, the bedroom is great, with a massive bed. Breakfast was tasty. Train and subway stations are very close. The only problem was we were at the front of hotel, floor 2. Direct outside is traffic lights, which you can hear the traffic, into the early hours of the morning.

Our room had unbeatable views of the city, and we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The bar, however, was a little overpriced and the food there wasn’t as tasty. I’d still recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

The hotel is wonderful. It sits in the middle of an area with a lot of tourists during the day. That can be a positive or a negative, depending on your perspective.

Absolutely perfect in all aspects. Rooms, food, cocktails and spa were all exquisite.

Great no frills property . clean building and rooms . We didn’t know it was a cloud hotel but checkin / checkout was easy. very safe neighborhood and plenty of dining options within 10-15 mins waking distance. Washing machine was super useful. I wish they had a drying rack as well.

It is spacious and clean but a bit inconvenient when it come to transportartation
