Very quiet location in comfortable room

Great hidden gem just outside the hustle and bustle of the main town area but still within walkable distance.

Everything was very beautiful! The marine reserve in front of the hotel was amazing!

The customer service was sub-standard. We, and other guests, were told on New Year’s Eve we had to stay at our villas because we hadn’t paid for the NYE buffet. It was really expensive and I don’t like buffets, so ate elsewhere and was going to join the festivities later (as well as buy drinks!) but wasn’t allowed. For the rest of my stay in Vanuatu I ate at other places. Breakas Resort got nothing from me after that experience. There were also issues with ‘locals’ entering our villas via the outdoor showers to try to break into our rooms, so we were vigilant to keep everything locked in the safe! The housekeeping lady and some of the wait staff were excellent but a lot didn’t seem to want to be there and wait on people. The manager was arrogant and didn’t ask if I enjoyed my stay when I checked out (he knew several people were unhappy with the treatment on NYE). I wouldn’t stay at Breakas Resort again.

Hands down the best resort we’ve ever been to. The level of service and sense of family combined with such beauty were just unmatched. Will definitely return one day!

Absolute gem of a resort. Amazing food, accommodation and service. After 11 visits to Fiji this stands out as one of my favourites. Veti, the Manager is an angel who will do anything to inprove your stay. She was there when we arrived late on a Sundat night after 11pm, and there when we left before 6am a week later. Food in Fiji is known to be hit and miss at the best of times but Wellesley did not disappoint. Gourmet food at very affordable prices. If you want peace and serenity this is the place to go. 10 out of 10.
