Nice hotel and confortable room but the beach is not good and the price of the restaurant is expensive for Lombok Overall 8/10

Great location! Away from the hustle bustle and close enough to great restaurants, sunset venues and beaches. Note there really isn’t a beach out front but plenty of swimmable beaches close by. We stayed in a pool access room - well worth the upgrade as the rooms towards the front of the hotel lack privacy and exposed to late night music. The chilled pool and terraced restaurant are highlights! Staff are incredibly sweet and friendly. Menu is hit and miss. Order the pork belly and sweet potato fries! Bfast every morning is delicious and good people watching. Seriously best coffee! Double shot lattes. Sleeping was comfortable with nightly turn down service and air conditioned rooms. We left doors open and fan on. Roosters and birds are a nice way to wake up around 5am. They also serve afternoon tea with selection of tea, coffee and light bites complimentary to pool villas.

Our stay at Seven Secrets by Hanging Gardens was nothing short of exceptional. This resort strikes the perfect balance between quaint charm and luxurious comfort. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by an atmosphere of tranquility and elegance that set the tone for a memorable getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind—always attentive, yet never intrusive. Their genuine warmth and professionalism added a personal touch to our experience, making us feel truly cared for throughout our stay. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with thoughtful details that reflect a deep appreciation for both design and comfort. Whether we were lounging by the pool or enjoying the serene beach sunset views, everything felt perfectly curated to create a peaceful and indulgent escape. Qunci Villas might just be one of the best places I've stayed. We were here for 14 nights in one of their pool villas, it was so nice to have our own private pool to retreat away. The room was immaculate and regularly cleaned, the pool was also in great condition and cleaned / maintained regularly. Food options at Qunci are amazing, three restaurants to choose from and specialised events every day of the week to pick from. The view from Nooq bar for sunset and their 241 happy hour at this time is amazing. The staff are incredible. And when I say incredible I mean absolutely flawless. Everyone is genuinely kind, well trained and ready to help at any given moment. I have stayed a lot of places and I was blown away. So, the catch, Lombok isnt called the island of 1000 mosques for nothing. Every morning at 0500hrs you can hear the call to prayer. It lasts approx 5 to 10mins but you definitely can hear it. The hotel have provided ear plugs, but in my opinion the rooms could do with some additional sound proofing. Having said that, we stayed a long time and we feel incredibly well rested. The noise to us was a minor inconvenience and the hotel more than made up for it in services rendered.

Stunning views, great concept and potential. Villas tastefully decorated as is the whole property. Don’t like that the restaurant manager jumped on us and demanded to know what time we would come for breakfast. Every meal we had in the restaurant had ingredients missing from the dishes as described in the menu / I understand, given remote location, they can run out of stock, but at least acknowledge that and let the diner know that core ingredients wouldn’t be in the dish. Sadly out of our two nights there was a party next door and the music blared so loudly til 3:40 am that our windows reverberated with the base - and we got no sleep. That was a real let down for me - so desperate wad I to get Some sleep. Otherwise so remote it was a good place to chill out. Impossible to find the light switches in the rooms and to light up the path to the gates of Villa / please make clearer. Lovely spa with very good therapists and there is an effort to put on activities for children and families. Breakfast excellent even with missing ingredients. Dinner also very nice with sent variety and choice. Great cocktails and staff already keen to please and help.

Moved here from another 5 star hotel, Cocana was at another level completely in terms of environment and quality, I enjoyed the stay and would recommend.
