"Reception staff - good easy check in and out. Hotel - very big (looks like one of the biggest in the area) there are lifts to get you from floor to floor, but there is quite a lot of walking from place to place. This is big old hotel, very well established and seems to have a number of repeat loyal guests.Bar/ Cleaning/Entertainment Restaurant staff -10/10.The facilities and public spaces are well maintained 9/10. Lots of spots dotted about to relax/read/play games etc. Hotel corridors 3/10 desperately need refurbishment, dirty looking carpet tiles, damaged skirting boards, paint coming off.(let the hotle down ...looks like a run down 3 star hotel) Bedroom condition 2/10 Like an old poor 3 star hotel. Not what you would expect when you pay for a 4 star experience. Scuffed floor, paint scuffed, peeling laminate of the units and skirting boards. We wondered of we had been given a bed room but when I expressed my concerns I was offered 2 other rooms but they were equally as rough and indeed of repair. The condition of our room didn't reflect the 4 star price we paid. Beds/mattress ok 7/10 Bedding 5/10 Soundproofing-5/10 Blackout curtains 6/10 Shower 10/10 Room towels 2/10 Water filling stations - 10/10 Food: 8/10 good buffet style food, lots of choice,some vegan/gluten All inclusive snack 10/10 bar open from Gym- 8/10 Fitness activities 10/10 - 10/10 -2 good-sized pools one more for kids. Good location 10/10 "

"Clean & very spacious "

"Hotel doesn’t look much from the outside, but there is not much to fault inside. It is really clean and modern and well run. Breakfast is very good, always hot and a great selection on offer. Drinks in the bar are very reasonably priced compared to local bars and restaurants. Highly recommend."

"Lovely hotel experience, very premium experience in a nice location. The breakfast was well worth it and the pool area had plenty of seating (though I'd still recommend going early to get seats). The spa was also very worth the price. My main concern is that the Preferred Club breakfast was not worth the extra cost. The breakfast in the main area was better than the a la carte option. Though the nice part of the preferred club was the separate cabanas and afternoon snacks/booze. I would stay here again, staff made everything possible to give us a good experience. Letting us stay extra hours because of our flight being later in day"

"Room was really clean, basic ammenities for self catering included. The only let down was breakfast not having a great cooked meats selection, but cant complain for free. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Would visit again."

"Long story short. One staff member with curly hair was rude and judgemental due to us being two young lads. We were asked to leave reception on the first day due to me slightly laying down on one of the sofas while we waited to go to the airport. We were asked by her to go outside, yet 2 females,( doing the exact same thing) were not asked to moved. However, totally left to themselves and not bothered at all. I have never ever gone out of my way to make a review but she really did make us feel uncomfortable. Other than this the hotel was decent with decent pool and room with big balcony. No air con for some reason, yet a ceiling fan was present. Nice bakery within hotel. Positioned at other side of the motorway and a lot of uphill walking back to the hotel, scooters had to be used everyday due to this."
