"Surf City met what we needed, but it wasn't anything special. The clientele there were loud and foul mouthed. My son's feet wound up turning black from walking on the room floor. Dust covered the nightstand phone. No box of tissue, no note pad, took a warm shower despite turning the knob to hot. Despite employees in the lobby, a paper sign directed me to an outdoor kiosk to check-in. "Me and my friend stayed only for 2 nights, it was super duper chill. If you not gonna be in the hotel a lot, and just using for sleeping and showering I would book. Cheap hotel, good vibes and nice place. Would reccomend to stay, they chill ash. Hot tub is nice and pool lowkey fun!"

"Great for the price. Front desk staff are really nice and friendly. We stayed 3 nights this is more of a one night place. No coffee maker or hair dryer. Weird noise in the walls at night. Good location for the beaches and walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. Gate for the parking lot got closed on one side at night which was comforting. Although the neighborhood is ok. Some loud street noise on Saturday night but not bad the rest of our stay. Building needs maintenance. "
