Spacious apartment, only one key for it so it was a bit of a juggle getting it cleaned and clean towels. Another key for cleaner is necesary. I was told i had to pay for use of washing machine, this is not clear in the advert. Beds very comfy as were pillows. The climb to get into the bath to have a shower was too high and risky when you climbed in and out. No good for anyone with mobility issues. The pipe from the shower head was too short meaning it wouldnt go on the overhead hook, you had to stand and hold the shower head in one hand whilst trying to wash hair with the other whilst bending over! No mirrors in bedrooms, mirror in hallway part but no plug by it for hairdryer. I would say basic accomodation that needs updating. Breakfast okay. If these issues were addressed it would have higher rating for dure. Great location.

Dallying in Dubrovnik

It was just an overnight stop and basic but comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful which was much appreciated as we’d had a long distance to travel that day. There were a couple of decent restaurants just down the hill which were open late and where the service was excellent and friendly ( we tried the Italian one!).

The property is along the main road between Dubrovnik and Cavtat with bus service (about 3 Euro) either direction within a 5 min walk. Also, it is a short walk to the beach and the Sheraton Resort area. The owners are very nice and provided good information relative to the area. Breakfast was very good. The pool was not open yet. The rooms were clean and sufficient size. A/C was adjustable and Wifi was good. Upper level had a view of the Adriatic.

Good location, average accommodation

We had a premium apartment With 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was not really functioning so it had to stay as a bed the whole time. The kitchen worked well with 4 hot zones and we actually cooked some meals during our 9 nights at Avantgarde. The bathrooms were ok but had some black spots in the corners and some undefined leakage in the ceiling. We did not use the small pool at all since the water looked a bit milky. On the positive side, we had a nice size balcony with sea view, only 7 minutes walk down to the great Srebreno beach with clean water and nice restaurants and bars. Also, only 3-4 minutes walk to the well stocked supermarket.

Posizione strategica per raggiungere a piedi due spiagge, in prossimità c'è un centro commerciale e dei ristoranti. A circa 15 min di auto sia da Cavtat che Dubrovnik. Stanze parzialmente ristrutturate (i sanitari e doccia andrebbero rinnovati). Colazione poco abbondante nel dolce e la maggior parte del salato è di produzione propria. Agosto caldo in Croazia

Partenza last minute, arrivò in aeroporto cercando alle 9 di sera un albergo disponibile. Tutto prenotato ovunque! in zona tranne un buco per sbaglio per una notte on questo albergo. Il ragazzo alla reception super gentile mi aiuta con le valige e mi aiuta con una sistemazione da un’altra parte per il giorno seguente. Posto carino, piscina aperta 24h su 24. La colazione alla mattina e troppo presto per i miei gusti. Chi fa colazione alle 7 e mezza in vacanza in agosto? Però si userà così.

Ruimte voor verbeteringen, leuke plek!

Zwembad niet heel groot en zuivering kan iets beter. Vooral als het appartement helemaal vol zou zijn. De afwerking van ons appartement was niet netjes (gebroken tegeltjes, Keuken die niet paste, kastjes die bijna van de muur kwamen). Ook de afwerking bij het zwembad kan beter. gaten met elektra net naast het bad. Niet slecht maar het had mooier gekund. Mooie locatie, vlakbij een fijn strand met kiezels maar in het water zand. Grote supermarkt in de buurt en Mlini (op loopafstand) erg schattig dorpje. Communicatie bij aankomst en met de ontbijt dame waren slecht. Ontbijt ook erg basic. Had met kleine aanpassingen een stuk leuker gekund. Verder prima verblijf.

To start with the map link took us to the wrong hotel about 10km away. No one was at reception when we arrived so we were given a key and showed to our room without a full check in. Then when we were eating breakfast the next morning, we were accused of not paying in front of the other hotel guests.
