"Absolutely horrible experience at this hotel, and I would never recommend staying here. Several days before arriving in La Paz, I contacted the hotel multiple times to reserve dinner at Azotea, yet I never received a response. When I brought this up with the staff, they were unable to explain why my messages had gone unanswered or offer any assistance with securing a reservation. The issues continued from the moment we checked in. Without obtaining permission, the hotel granted access to one of our two rooms to another individual in our party. Later, while showering, the water suddenly shut off, leaving us standing in the shower with soap in our hair for nearly 10 minutes. When we reported the issue, staff informed us there was a problem with the water tank. We then attempted to use the "pool" on the deck, which was essentially a hot tub. When we later discussed all our issues with the manager, we were told that they had "done us a favor" by allowing us to use it because it supposedly was not available to guests—despite the hotel advertising it as a pool amenity. To make matters worse, several staff members displayed poor attitudes and raised their voices during our interactions. Considering the price we paid, the level of service and quality of the amenities were completely unacceptable. I have traveled extensively and stayed in hotels across many countries, and this was by far the worst hospitality experience I have ever had. Save your money and book elsewhere."

"Amazing views for rooms on level 2-4. Staff was just so attentive, friendly and responsive. Truly an amazing staff! Natalia went above and beyond to help us and upgraded us! Breakfast included was a bonus. Centrally located and easy access to food and shopping. One thing to note, standing water on the grounds with lots of mosquitos. And towels are not so soft. They could use an update."

"The TV was not much help. Only Netflix is available, but it was not set up for use because it needed to be updated by email. Also, I didn't think about the noise level when booking the room. The room has a great view to the bay since is on the famous malecon, however it is really noisy at night and sometimes early morning. Soundproof windows would help. I use the mini split in the room to drown out some of the noise at night by turning the temperature lower to keep it on longer. I enjoyed the room overall. Great location. Finally, the staff was great and super helpful!"

"The downtown location is very noisy. It didn’t help that we reserved it on the weekend, was very difficult to have a rested night. Too close to the church bells, noises from car alarms and police. At the restaurant food was delicious and the bed linen smell very clean. House keeping were very prompt to respond."

"First off, the property is really cute with a fabulous view of the water. We enjoyed drinking our beverages and relaxing by the pool while the kids threw the frisbee around. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff helpful. The location is perfect, steps away from cute restaurants, bars and only one block from the Malecon. My family would definitely stay there again."

"Great location! One block from Malecon. Penthouse unit was very clean, and had a beautiful patio deck looking to Malecon and ocean. Kitchen was very well equipped. A few items that keep this review from Five stars - the jacuzzi was not working- we called maintenance (quick response), but were told it had not been working for a while. Second, was mattresses on both beds were very/too firm. Finally - not a criticism- unit is so close to Malecon, that loud music and action usually went to 2-3am. Lastly, no elevator, and it’s an over 2 story walk up by stairs. Again, not complaining about the last two items, I just want future guests to be aware. All said, we would definitely stay there again."

"The hotel was very well kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean. The only bad part was that when it was time to hang out by the pool all the restaurant clientele was right there sitting right next to the pool. It wasn’t too relaxing know that there were kids and families eating right by the pool. No privacy from the restaurant and the pool. All else was nice. The complimentary food was delicious. The front door host was very hospitable. We would recommend that you would like to have a relaxing time there try to go during the week."
