The front desk staff we talked to knew very little English and when spoken to in Chinese, were not very helpful and generally confused when we asked for restaurant recommendations. "I spent 2 nights here..One of the Reception staff (Tchai) does not speak english but very friendly. Most reception staff are young & use their personal phone messaging translator app to communicate english. Not a newly built hotel, room smaller than expected, but ok.
