"The complimentary s'mores kit and welcome beverages were nice. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The bed was too soft for us which made it hard to sleep. The room we were in was a bit "quirky" -- old-fashion looking lights and army green paint on the walls and bathroom tiles. Overall we felt it was a bit dark in the room and the bathroom. The shower water pressure was excellent. It's fine for an overnight or a crash pad while skiing or doing water sports. I don't recommend the hotel for a romantic getaway."

"Very cute place. The rooms were nice, beds were comfortable, & I loved having my own private balcony. Property also has a little outdoor area where you can get a pint of beer, chill at the fire pits, play ping pong and other games, and listen to live music. Location was perfect, everything within walking distance"

"The staff were really helpful and answered any and all questions we had. I saw the reviews mentioning that the continental breakfast was amazing so we were expecting something great, but sadly were disappointed. It was very limited and the hot food items (scrambled eggs, sausage patties, potatoes) were cold. When we got there it was pretty packed with people, and there wasn’t a staff actively checking if anything needed to be restocked. Mostly everything we wanted was gone so we just left and bought breakfast somewhere else. Another thing we didn’t know was the access to the lake. You have to pay for a pass ($5 per person) to access a private beach. The private beach is super small and pretty disappointing, but there was access to water activities which we had to pay for, of course. Overall, the hotel room was a bit small but fine for the price, plus we were there to be outdoors so it didn’t matter as much. The staff were kind, and Heavenly Village was walkable so that was nice. I would probably look for another place to stay next time we come to Lake Tahoe."
