"Coziest, most welcoming place we have ever stayed. Beds were comfy, couch perfect for movie watching by the fireplace! Playing Ms. Pac-Man was such a blast from the past. All the little extras, from the toiletries to the s’mores supplies made our stay unforgettable. Jacob (our dog) loved watching the animals from the window and walking the Corkscrew Rail Trail. Dillon provided the best recommendations for food and fun. Norte Azul is an absolute must. The crispy chicken empanadas was amazing. Stephentown Hotel gets 10 ! "

"Very nice place to stay for our 3 day hike on the AT. The view from the deck is amazing and the living room is huge with an old stone fireplace which we didn’t use because it was 90 degrees each day. The Mexican restaurant in town (Norte Azul) has an extensive menu and a good variety of beer on tap. Highly recommend visiting Mt Greylock in MA, about 30 mins away. It has an even better restaurant on top (you need reservations) and is right on the Appalachian Trail so you will meet all sorts on interesting folks. It would be nice if the kitchen was a bit better stocked but we managed to make one dinner from scratch for 6 hungry hikers which was our original plan. Jonathan is very friendly, we met him once and he shared his vision of how he wants to develop the property. He said we were only his third guests so far since he opened up earlier this year."
