"The Garden Hotel is outdated and old, but that’s part of its charm. It perfect if you are traveling by car. We were here for pottery shopping; the area is otherwise remote. The town square has been revitalized and looks way more “happening” than it did 7 years ago when last we were there The staff and food at the Garden Hotel are welcoming. "We were going to check in and the front desk lady was great, after discussions with her we upgraded to the castle about 200m away and it was amazing. However we rode horses at this location and enjoyed the great pizza and beer. The whole property was very quiet and enjoyable, grass needed to be mowed but still amazing. We also enjoyed the stable employees and riding horses. loved our stay in the castle as well, overall great experince."
