Best in the area for 1-2 night stay.
From the moment we landed at the airport and were picked up by the shuttle bus, till we were dropped back, we were looked after very well. The rooms were functional, confidante and clean and there was a variety of food options available both in the hotel and in the other resort dining areas. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Lack of easy parking for those with mobility problems to unpack & pack car; some problems with TV; fridge a bit small in the room. Loved our room was tidied while we were out, but found it was not necessary.

The property is in a great position and the rooms were very soundproof and better than I expected. On the third day of my stay I had to request twice for my room to be serviced (in the early morning and late afternoon) as it had not been done. The entertainment was the same every night which was dissappointing.

Comfortable Budget
A good, basic room, with facilities for eating, bar, eating, very accommodating shuttle service and grocery store, with helpful, courteous residence staff, and easy to book trips to Uluru and Kata Tjata. I would definitely stay there again.

Great Choice For Our Stay !
Place was swamped and the person assisting us was the Assistant Manager ! Personable and helpful as anyone could be with the crowd awaiting. When he could not find our reservation he became even more helpful and discover that I had made the reservation for November instead of October. With the resort booked all but one room available he quickly corrected my mistake. Everywhere we went in the Lodge Compound people were quick to help us and the various outlets were stocked well and even had some items on sale. The IGA Store was a really well stocked with all the needs that we had with helpful staff including the efficient cashiers. The two specialty shops had many items to help you remember your visit and if you had forgotten something they had it in stock. Seldom do you visit a Compound of Businesses that fulfills all you needs so well and pleasantly !

Fantastic. Great accommodation very close to a great icon.
Terrific breakfast, butter had to be specially requested, a bit disappointing. Pool was great, plenty of pool towels available. Camp kitchen was great.

Great atmosphere
Very happy to get a free upgrade to a room with bathroom facilities. Away from the main hotel, shopping area made it a quiet relaxing place. A viewing platform for the rock and The Olga's at the edge of the complex was fantastic. Overall...I WANT TO GO BACK!

Perfect stay for any age
There was the perfect balance of younger travelers, older guests, and families. I wasn't looking for a party accommodation so I was happy that the travelers were mature and respectful, but at the same time there was a good night life. They had great live music and football on a big screen. The buffet was reasonably priced and all you can eat which I love. Clean rooms and showers.

Captive audience
Since our last stay many years ago, nothing has changed except that rooms are now very tired and in need of a refurb. The resort owners obviously are not bothered because there is little choice, take it or leave it. For peace and quiet suggest request room well away from main buildings. This is a pure tourist resort, with very early morning tours, but unbelievably the breakfast restaurant closes at 10.30am, just when the early tours are returning. Good planning.

Cheapest hotel in hotel complex close to Uluru
This was a room without ensuite - bed sagged too much - tv, and bar fridge was good, didn't try air con, adjacent room had a vibrating a/c unit that sent a hum into my bedroom all day and all night. Lots of facilities - swimming pool, outside bar, take-away counter, communal kitchen available, restaurant ($50AU set menu), camping style communal toilet/shower block, free bus service to airport & other hotels.

Comfortable No-nonsense Staying at the Rock
We traveled to Yalara *Which is the town 20km away from Ayres Rock*. Which is really just a resort town. For a Long Weekend Getaway. The only differences with the places aroudn the resort town is the bed/ room you sleep on. Other wise everything is the same. You can go to any of the resturants, swim in any of the pools, Do any of the activities. Book any of the tours. The money we saved by staying here was spent doing other things around the resort town. Buffet breakfeast was also well worth purchasing. And the Buffet Dinner at Sails was also worth a visit.

Fun stay at the Lodge
There's not much to say about the neighborhood - there is only 1 neighborhood, and that's Yulara :). We stayed in the "2 bunk with bathroom" room, despite it being just 2 of us. This was the last room available. Nonetheless, the room was nice for the 2-night short stay in Yulara. The hotel is fitted with 3 (so much as I saw) food options: Kitchen, Buffet, or BBQ. The Kitchen serves the standard burgers, hot sandwiches, pizza, and fries. We did not eat at the buffet, but look nice. The BBQ is a "cook your own" meat your purchase from the hotel. Though there is literally a community kitchen area in which you're invited to cook your own store-bought food. Wifi is availabe, but at a hefty cost, in my opinion. The hotel also has a arcade room and a community TV room.

Two nights stay to fully experience the desert.
The three of us planned to see Uluru, Kata Tjuta, do some walks and browse through Aboriginal art galleries. Despite 40+ temperatures we did a lot of what we planned and at night we had the comfort of nice beds in an air-conditioned room and a swimming pool nearby.

The cheapest place to stay at Uluru (Ayers Rock)
You get what you pay for or even less but there are limited options at Ayers Rock (Uluru). So for max 2 nights is ok. Don't forget to book a car otherwise the buses are mega overpriced and not flexible. Rental in the city (information center pick up) is much cheaper. From-to airport and to the information center you will get by free shuttle.

It's a place to sleep in Uluru, that's it.
Just like everything at voyages' resorts, it's expensive for what it is, but it's perfectly adequate for a stay while visiting Uluru. No way you'd pay as much if it wasn't in the middle of nowhere. That being said, staff make no effort to please, they know you're stuck with no other choice.

tourist trap, with prison feel.
Horrible place. If the show Wentworth is accurate, prisons in oz are nicer. Like a bad summer camp, only more expensive or youth hostel with old hippies. Aweful american country music, terrible but expensive food - when they feel like selling it to you, flies are impossible to exagerate but they don't bother to cover garbage or put out traps. I would never go back, couldn't wait to get on plane and leave.

Four adults stayed in a budget room with one double bed and bunks - was good for only one night, comfy beds and tea and coffee provided in the room. Very reasonable :)

Relaxed outdoor environment
Beautiful and spacious bush setting, relaxed and friendly place. My main complaint is that the kitchen is very inadequately equipped with eating and cooking utensils (eg. one or two saucepan lids for the thirty or more people who want to cook each night; two mugs only). Also their map of their large premises (many huts) is a bit inaccurate and that made it hard to orient myself at the start.

U dont have a choice
Goint to see ULURU u dont have many choices.....1. expensive Hotel or this i can say concrete tents. Nothing special, its like somewhere in Afganistan. 4 beds in tiny room, ugly WC for all of people in those tents. ONE day there is enough. Very expensive food. See this once is enough for whole life !

Great Spot... I think it's overpriced. Our room was fine but we had NO hot water! Ugh! To pay a premium and not have hot water for a shower, disappointing.
