"The room was clean, the staff was nice, and the breakfast was delicious. There's a convenience store and a restaurant within walking distance."

"I should have known better when I booked it—a $55-a-night roadside motel. There was mold in the bathroom, broken tile, sticky sheets, stained furniture, and dirty carpet—the list could go on. Breakfast was okay: waffles, bread, coffee, cereal, and peanut butter. Pretty freaking dingy motel, but again, it was about $55. Pros: I did feel safe as a woman."
