"We had an amazing stay at Xiang’s home! The house was spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained—perfect for our large group. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, with a Master bedroom downstairs and 2 Master bedrooms upstairs, which makes it perfect for multi generation gathering. Also one bedroom downstairs has a Jack and Jill bathroom, and once everyone is out of the living room, it is like another Master bedroom. The layout made it easy for everyone to have their own space while still enjoying time together. The kitchen was well stocked, offering both Keurig coffee machine and traditional coffee machine, the beds were comfortable, and everything was exactly as described in the listing.Outdoor space is open even with another ranch style house next door to this house. But the huge backyard offers enough space for everyone to relax and there is a trampoline for kids behind the house too.Xiang was an outstanding host—very responsive and friendly. Check-in was smooth, even with our last-minute booking. The location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions, and although the house sits on a main road, parking in the back was easy and private. We really were not bothered by the noise from the street. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations. It’s perfect for families or large groups looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located place to stay. We highly recommend Xiang’s home and would love to return for another trip!"

"Donna and Mike were such good hosts. They've compiled a binder with just about everything you need to know about the island, the area, restaurants, etc. The cottage feels like home, and it's proximity to the York River provided lovely views, as well as a wide array of birds, from eagles to osprey to herons and more. The cottage was so comfortable that we didn't even mind being rained in for a day. "

"The home is adorable and clean in a nice quiet neighborhood. The dock is great and we even caught a crab! Nathan was super responsive. If we ever need a place to stay in these parts again, this will be our first choice. "

"Great area to stay! Short Walking distance to Waterfront with beach, food, and shops. Free Trolley also available. Very Friendly area! Close to Yorktown Visitor Center, short drive to American Revolutionary War Museum and Battlefields. Cottage was very clean and spacious. However, bathrooms are kinda small and shower doesn’t have strong water pressure. There is only one bedroom with a door, other bed is in open area outside bedroom. We enjoyed a short stay for our anniversary weekend. "
