Conveniently located near Shin-Yokohama station. The front desk staff were very welcoming, easy check in and check out service. Although the hotel style may be slightly outdated, the rooms are very spacious and clean which was nice. They have self serve amenities including oil cleanser packets which I was pleasantly surprised. My only complaint is that there are no power outlets near the bed.

Great value in an excellent location easy access to the cruise port, and airport with full amenities. Beds were a little hard for our liking but everything worked well, was clean with great service.

It's too hot in the room because the hotel turns on the 'central' heating system. I already turned off the thermostat (as instructed) but still hot. Opening the windows would work but not during the night time because of the dropping temperature. If I don't open the windows, I don't have enough air in my room to breathe. Conclusion: Not happy!

Nice, clean, 3 minutes “great “ access to Shinkansen. Easy to access to Haneda airpot, 35 minutes. Very close to Ramen Museums.

Close to station. Room was fine. A little dated but OK. Smoking room near elevator a little off-putting, but nice if you are a smoker. No smoke smell in room.

Fantastic Hotel Shin Yokohama Kokusai
Good location, almost right in front of the train station. Friendly staff, kept our baggage before and after check in and out.Tea making facilities in room and microwave facility on the 3rd floor. Comfortable beds. Plenty of eateries to eat in or take away.

Older hotel will give you good rest
Great place if you just need rest. It's an older hotel right next to the Shinyokohama Blue Line Exit. Location is great. Right in front of the Blue Line Train Station. Exit #7. You need to climb up maybe about 25 steps. Plenty of restaurants right outside the hotel which offers great lunch specials because there are a lot of business men. Also right next to two Combinis It's just an older hotel. The wallpapers from the 70-80s, the phone was cracked. The faucet was coming out at the edge of the sink. There's no space to put your hand in to get the water. Bed and soundproof was decent. I didn't hear the neighbors or the cleaners. Was able to sleep well. Internet was NOT usable. It was never usable during the whole week I was here. During day or night. I had to get my own pocket wifi to do work. This is not acceptable in today's world. Gym! Yes this one has a gym on the B1, but they are closed on Thursdays and it costs 1000 yen per use. It's a VERY VERY Tiny gym. There was about 6 cardio machines with maybe 6 weight training type machines. It would've been great if it was part of the hotel, but pathetic if you have to pay 1000 yen per use. Laundry. You have to go downstairs to get keys to use the 1 laundry machine they have. They limit you to 2-3 hours and I let the dryer run 3x and it still didn't dry my clothes. Expect to pay 500 yen per laundry. (200 yen for wash 100x3 for drying)

OK Hotel just avoid the room with 4 beds in it!
It is close to local transportation and the Ramen Museum. Our problem was the room size for the number of beds in the room. We had four beds in a room that should have really only had two. Well we got it a an fair rate and yes the photographs of the room did show that the room was small. It was a good place to sleep. The bathroom sink being located in the same made it though for everyone to get ready at the same time. The air conditioning was a little to slow to cool the room and in the morning the sun overheated the room and the AC could not keep up. Shin-Yokohama is not near most Yokohama sites and require you you to use local transportation that happen to pass through Yokohama. So something to think about.

Great location - and good value
We stayed Thursday and Friday night - only about USD75 per night! Room was big and view was nice. 100m from the station and only 800m from the big stadium. Price zoomed to almost USD500 for Saturday night so we went somewhere else!

Close to Yokohama Arena. Close from Subway Station exit. A little bit farther from JR Station, but you can mostly walk underground to avoid the hot heat or rain from both stations to the hotel. Both JR and Subway stations are connected underground.
