Gave us very bad rooms at the start , toilet was bad , Air condition did not work after telling off the staff we got a decent room , we were very disappointed, it did not rate even up to a 2 star hotel

Really nice reception staff and good hotel. Very clean and central. Pool was very small. The location is very close to Malioboro Mall. Only issue was we were charged 250,000 for the airport pick up. We decided to get a metered taxi back and it came to 50,000 so a bit disappointed that the hotel charged so much. I understand it would be more expensive for a pick up as they have to wait for us to arrive but that much more seems like they've taken advantage which isn't very professional.

Staff is wonderful and very helpful. Grounds are beautiful and not at all crowded. Rooms are updated, modern,and very comfortable with full kitchenette with complimentary coffee and water. Great for breakfast and lunch. Unfortunately we didn't request a second floor room or a king bed when reserving. We were so exhausted when we arrived we didn't feel like moving. Our first floor room was pleasant but our 'ocean' view was around another unit and through the trees so very limited. We were also in an end unit and next to a walkway so there was lots of 'traffic' from maintenance carts and people walking by. Not quite as private as I would have liked. The restaurant was excellent. All in all it was a lovely visit. I would return and choose a better room. The public areas are beautiful but are very dark in the evening. A few lamps would warm up the lobby and restaurant entrance area and make it feel more inviting.

All in all pleasant,. The rooms are modern and new. The staff is slow. Ex: we asked for a wake-up call for five, we had a plane to catch. We got the wake- up call at twenty to six...So, no breakfast... They told us, it was the system.... Ps: I am french so pardon my mistakes

Poor noise isolation

Generally the hotel room was all right, clean and decently priced. However one can easily hear noise from outside, be it from the walkway or road. Breakfast was rather poor though. Thumbs up for the selection of TV channels.

I wanted to like this place but couldn't.

After reading some very promising reviews I booked this hotel for 5 nights. cons: water pump! this constant banging from the water pump woke me every few hours and even changing rooms didn't solve the problem. the breakfast was terrible. the only thing we could eat was toast. the location is 2km from the mall and not 700metres as stated by the hotel. pros hotel staff were great. the roof top bar was nice and served nice food. Overall this hotel has potential however some problems need to be sorted out.....like that water pump!
